There are no specific hardware requirements for hardware: SystoLOCK components are lightweight and if your base operating System runs smoothly on a given machine, you can be sure SystoLOCK also will.

Windows 7 has an installation compatibility issue with new digitally signed installers that need to be addressed before installation. A detailed description is available within the Installation section.
Windows client on an RDS servers relies (more often than not) on the local service called "Smart Card" (SCardSvr). Make sure the service is running and is set to start automatically.
For SystoLOCK to run smoothly on a terminal server, make sure smart card redirection is not blocked by any GPOs or client settings. Although counterintuitive, the setting might be blocked by default!
