Management tools consist of a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in and a PowerShell module Systola.SystoLOCK.Management
. While most tasks can be accomplished either via the MMC console or PowerShell, some of them can only be accomplished via PowerShell or have more options if executed via PowerShell.
Management tools can be installed on any domain-joined computer, not only on SystoLOCK Servers
The management components are automatically installed on SystoLOCK server during server installation.
Management tools work out-of-the-box. MMC Console will perform a discovery of the services installed. If you, for any reason, would like to override the discovered settings, you may do so by right-clicking on the root node of the SystoLOCK Console and selecting Change connection.
Please, refer to Automating Management with PowerShell to learn how to manage SystoLOCK from command line.
The management console will have to be able to reach the server over the port 21573 (previously 21572). The server installer will make necessary chnages to the windows firewall on the server, be sure to make the specified port available via any intermediate firewalls.
