The New-SystoLockNfcReaderSettings cmdlet is used to create settings entity for NFC reader hardware that deviates from the standard configuration.
By convention, many NFC readers use volatile key slot index 0 for storing authentication keys (e.g., Mifare Classic keys). Readers that utilize this default slot do not require custom configuration settings to be created or saved.
However, some specialized or OEM readers has to be configured to use a volatile key slot with an index greater than 0 (e.g., 1, 2, up to 255). If a reader has a custom volatile key slot, it has to be registered first.
New-SystoLockNfcReaderSettings -Id 'Cherry GmbH CHERRY SECURE BOARD 1.0' -VolatileKeySlotNumber 0x80 -Description 'CHERRY SECURE BOARD'
Creates new NFC reader configuration.
New-SystoLockNfcReaderSettings -Id 'HID OMNIKEY 5022*'-Disable -Description 'Does not support volatile keys for Mifare Classic'
Creates a disabled NFC reader configuration.
